COULD Caleb and Lily Pugh be the youngest tandem surfers in the world?

Most people who master the unusual sport are beyond their teens.

Caleb and Lily, of Caloundra, are aged 12 and 11.

But Caleb has been hitting the waves for a long time and has already scored himself a private sponsor, Cod Surfboards.

Caleb was introduced to the concept of tandem surfing by two experts in the field, Fred and Lily Branger, who run Nalu Surf.

When they tried to find a partner for Caleb, he automatically asked his younger sister to join him.

Lily's passion for acrobatics combines perfectly with Caleb's skills.

They were going to be a feature of the recent Noosa Festival of Surfing, but the conditions were too poor.

The siblings recently appeared on Channel 10's Totally Wild.
