WHO doesn't love a good market!? The fresh produce, the beautiful handmade crafts and clothes, the to-die-for food trucks - the list of pros goes on.

So next time you're in Brisbane, make sure you check out some of these brilliant markets around the region.

1. Suitcase Rummage

It's called a suitcase rummage for a reason so make sure you're down for sifting through piles to find your gem when you visit these markets. But be sure you will find a gem.

What: Second-hand clothing, art and bric-a-brac
When: First and third Sunday of every month (City) & last Sunday of every month (Powerhouse)
Where: Reddacliff Place, City & Brisbane Powerhouse

2. Jan Power's Farmers Markets

Jan Powers Farmers Markets are a feel-good community experience with stall holders returning each week. Get to know your local options and find inspiration for your next meal at one of their many locations.

What: Farm-fresh food and produce such as homemade cheeses, vegetables, pizzas, pasties, ginger beer and freshly baked breads.

Manly 
When: First and third Saturday of each month, 6am - midday
Where: Little Bayside Park, Manly

Brisbane Powerhouse 
When: Every Saturday, 6am - midday
Where: 119 Lamington St, New Farm.

The City 
When: Every Wednesday, 8am - 6pm
Where: George St end of the Queen Street Mall

Mitchelton 
When: The first Sunday of each month, 6am-midday
Where: Blackwood St, Mitchelton. (Between Samford Rd and Mitchelton train station)

3. Davies Park Market, West End
Another staple in your weekend market rotation should definitely be the Davies Park Market in West End. While it's a long-standing market it's retained its personality and feeling of community making it the perfect place to pick up your fruit and veg and have a wander while you're at it.

What: Organic produce, flowers, second-hand clothing and bric-a-brac along with food tastings
When: Every Saturday, 6am - 2pm
Where: Cnr Jane St and Montague Rd, West End

4. Carseldine Farmers & Artisan Markets
For those on the north side, the Carseldine markets are a new addition worth checking out. Housed in the old QUT campus this little market is growing in size and reputation.

What: Regional produce, artists and purveyors selling Maleny cheese, jams, oils and chutneys, and artisan baked bread from Sven Novak in Noosa
When: Every Saturday, 6am - noon
Where: 532 Beams Rd, Carseldine

5. Boundary Street Markets

We recommend visiting Boundary St Markets on a Friday or Saturday evening, any excuse to try one of the many amazing food vendors. From MooFree Burgers to Taste of Transylvania to West End Chai Cart there is sure to be something for everybody.

What: More than 100 growers, food producers, local artisans and designers
When: Every Friday, Saturday 4pm - 10pm and Sunday, 9am - 3pm
Where: Cnr Boundary St and Mollison St, West End
