Youth ready to roll with events

IT is time to celebrate all things youth and AJ Duncan and Noel Stockwell can’t wait until it rolls in.

Youth Ambassador AJ and Noel are excited for the next trip around the district exploring the region’s skate parks.

“It’s just so much fun and you get to meet all new people,” Noel said.

Southern Downs Regional Councillor Bonita Tyler said it was set to be another great week with plenty of youth events on the calendar.

“It’s a real mixture of arts and culture this year, we are doing the traditional skate tour including BMX riders, film workshops and the BASS-SD,” Ms Tyler said.

“It is about showcasing young people’s talent in regards to music and film.

“We want to try and offer something affordable to celebrate.”
