PONY CLUB: The Zone 21 A team of Eliza Johnstone, Latisha Murphy, Nikki Burraston, Grace McLauchlan and Leila Wilson won gold at the State Pony Club Championships in mounted games in Roma.

The team had seven firsts and one third in eight events to win overall with 102 points.

The Zone B team had a best of 6th for 12th overall.

Shania Muphy was part of the associates pool team which came fourth overall after best placings of two seconds.

Before the State Championships, Nikki Burraston won silver at the Nationals for Queensland after a competition with 28 different mounted games.

Grace McLauchlan and Burraston won bronze for Queensland in the tetrathlon. Eliza Johnstone won gold in campdrafting at the State Championships.
